Small 6 wheel or large 6 wheel truck?
Customers often ask whether they need a small 6 wheel or a large 6 wheel truck. Look at the length of your longest item and the total amount you have.
- Short bed (about 5.5 m) – enough for a 1–2 bedroom house move or a medium load of goods
- Long bed (6.5–7.2 m) – for large houses, offices, booths or long items such as pipes, steel and formwork timber
- For less than this, a 4-wheel jumbo truck is cheaper, and for more than 7 tonnes you should use a 10 wheel truck
